ANNAPOLIS, MD — A cosmetics store, bareMinerals, recently closed its location at the Westfield Annapolis mall.

Patch saw the retailer wrapping up a closeout sale on Jan. 5. The business was closed and its signage was gone when we returned on Jan. 12.

This is one of three recent closures at the Annapolis mall.

Nando's PERi-PERi shut down its chicken restaurant last month, and BrookieGirl Bath + Body Care shuttered its store recently. Both businesses still have other locations in Maryland.

On the other hand, the mall is also welcoming new tenants.

Capital Teas returned to the mall in November 2022. L'Antico Gusto Italiano will soon open an eatery in the food court. The team behind InGrano will launch a new cafe next to Build-A-Bear Workshop. And The Original Pancake House will debut across from the California Pizza Kitchen.

bareMinerals does not have any other stand-alone stores in Anne Arundel County. Customers can still buy the company's products online at bareminerals.com or in person at these partner retailers:

  • Sephora (Westfield Annapolis)
  • Ulta (Annapolis Harbour Center, Arundel Mills)
