New Live Music Venue Opens In Anne Arundel County, Fills Vacancy Left By Popular Bar
A new live music venue called Vibe just opened in the Annapolis Town Center. The bar fills the vacancy left by Union Jack's.
ANNAPOLIS, MD — A new live music venue called Vibe opened recently in the Annapolis Town Center. The bar will bring bands and DJs to the stage every weekend.
"Our mission is to provide a top entertainment destination in the Annapolis regional area with great concert experiences and unforgettable nights out," co-founder Ivano Scotto said in a Tuesday press release announcing the new business.
Vibe, located at 2072 Somerville Road, fills the vacancy left by Union Jack's of Annapolis. Union Jack's closed in September 2020 when bars still faced COVID-19 capacity restrictions.

Vibe has since remodeled the 10,000-square-foot space. The previously red exterior is now a chic gray that welcomes visitors into a bar designed for any generation or genre.
"Modern meets retro to create an exciting atmosphere dotted with curated music-themed decor," the venue said in the release. "Psychedelic poster-style wall coverings anchor 2 billiard tables. Jacquard curtains, iridescent pendant lights and red-tufted booths provide a classic, yet funky vibe."

The 500-person venue is equipped with a state-of-the-art light and sound system. Two bars offer beer, wine and cocktails.
The menu features finger foods like ahi tuna bites and handhelds like tacos al pastor. The establishment also offers room rentals, VIP seating and table service on various nights.
Vibe opened last Friday. It is now open every Thursday through Sunday from 8 p.m. until 2 a.m.
Live bands will perform every Thursday through Saturday. DJs will spin tunes before the sets and during the breaks. Latin DJs will perform each Sunday.
Upcoming shows include Party Fowl on Thursday, M80 on Friday, Turning the Tide on Saturday and DJ E Z from Latin radio station 107.9 FM El Zol on Sunday.
