Preston's challenge pitted 50 children against 50 of their parents. The teams split up and hid in the mall for 5 hours as Preston and his friends searched for them.

Players hid in trash cans, snuck underneath counters and even dressed up like mannequins. As Preston found contestants, they were sent to "jail" in the open court outside Macy's.

Preston gradually shut down sections of the mall, forcing players to leave their hiding spots and find new ones. He also unlocked power-ups like an electric scooter to zoom through the concourse and spot hiders.

The nearly 19-minute video is posted here.

In the end, only a few contestants remained. One team was the clear winner.

"Westfield Annapolis is reenvisioning ways to use our center to bring together the surrounding community in fun and unique ways," mall Marketing Director Morgan McLoud said in a press release. "We were thrilled to welcome Preston, his wife Brianna and his crew, as we knew they would create an unforgettable experience for our shoppers. They are currently one of YouTube's most famous creators and we couldn't be happier with how this partnership and this video featuring Westfield Annapolis turned out."
