A fireworks stand was robbed at gunpoint in Crofton, police said. Officers arrested four suspects, including two from Bowie.

CROFTON, MD โ€” A fireworks stand was robbed at gunpoint in Crofton this weekend, police said.

Officers said they arrested four suspects, identified as:

  • Mark Dewayne Mason, 23, of Bowie
  • Isaiah Christopher Mason, 19, of Bowie
  • Jelani Nassir Bryson, 18, of Hyattsville
  • Elijah Cravon Ducket, 20, of Waldorf

The robbery happened Saturday around 9 p.m. at the Gorilla Fireworks stand located at 1153 Crain Highway North, authorities said.

Police said three suspects demanded money from a female employee.

One of the suspects pointed a gun at her, officers said.

Authorities said the trio stole a cash register and fled in a dark BMW driven by a fourth suspect.

Police said they spotted the vehicle and arrested the four occupants.

Officers said they found the cash register and a loaded 0.40-caliber polymer 80 handgun in the car.
