5 Potential Witnesses Contacted In Mom Rachel Morin's Death, New Tip Email Set Up: Sheriff

Detectives have contacted five potential witnesses in the Rachel Morin death investigation and created a new email for tips.

HARFORD COUNTY, MD — Detectives identified five potential witnesses in the Rachel Morin homicide investigation and contacted them Friday. No additional information regarding any new information has been provided by the Harford County Sheriff's Office.

These individuals were walking along the Ma and Pa Trail from the Route 24 tunnel toward the split in the trail that leads to the Williams Street trailhead between 6 and 7:30 p.m. the night slain mom of five Rach Morin was supposedly walking on the trail.

Detectives at first said the witnesses were either three men, two women and two dogs, or two men, three women and two dogs.

The Harford County Sheriff's Office also has established a dedicated email for the Rachel Morin investigation for the public to use. Anyone with information, photos or video should use [email protected].

The 37-year-old Morin's body was found Aug. 6 around 1 p.m. off the Ma and Pa Trail. Morin's boyfriend reported her missing Saturday night after she did not return from a walk along a stretch of Ma and Pa Trail in Bel Air. The trail runs throughout Harford County.

Morin, who was 5'2 and 107 pounds, left her home around 6 p.m. Her vehicle was found Sunday morning at the trail's Williams Street entrance.
