BETHESDA, MD — Small Door Veterinary is planning to move into the Wildwood Shopping Center in Bethesda later this year, according to a report.

The new veterinary clinic will be located at 10253 Old Georgetown Road, Robert Dyer @ Bethesda Row reported Wednesday.

The new location will be Small Door Veterinary’s first in Maryland. The veterinary business has two locations in Washington, D.C., with a third one scheduled to open this fall in the Spring Valley neighborhood of D.C.

With an expected winter 2023 opening date, Small Door Veterinary is inviting pet owners to become founding members of the Bethesda clinic by entering their email and phone number on its website. Membership benefits will include a free annual exam, 24/7 telehealth and priority appointments.

Services offered at the clinic will include wellness and preventative care; sickness and concerned visits; surgical procedures; spaying and neutering; vaccinations; puppy and kitten care; pharmacy; dentistry and teeth cleaning; pet travel certificates; allergies and dermatology; and diagnostic testing and radiography.

Small Door Veterinary opened its first clinic in Manhattan in 2020. The company said it is now entering an expansion phase.
