Free Movies This Summer By The Potomac, At The Park In Prince George's

Enjoy free movies this summer at Movies in the Park, Movies on the Potomac and at Old Greenbelt Theater or the library.

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — There's plenty of summer left to enjoy one of several outdoor movie showings across Prince George's County.

Movies in the Park, held at Watkins Regional Park, has upcoming showings July 14 and July 28. The Little Rascals will show July 14 at 7:30 p.m. while Jurassic World Dominion will show July 28 also at 7:30 p.m.

Movies on the Potomac brings Thursday Date Night Movies at 7 p.m. and Sunday Family Night Movies at 6 p.m. at the Plaza's big screen through September. Upcoming movies include Wonder Woman, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, Cruella, Incredibles, La Bamba, Shrek and Coco.

If the weather isn't cooperative for outdoor fun, check out the free Summer Series showing at Old Greenbelt Theater. All movies play at 1 p.m. The movies left in the line-up include:

  • July 14: Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted
  • July 21: Rango
  • July 28: Shrek
  • Aug. 4: Mr. Peabody and Sherman
