Prince George's Wine Bar Named RAMMY Award Finalist

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, MD — A Mt. Rainier restaurant has been named a RAMMY award finalist.

Finalists will be recognized and winners announced July 21 at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center at the 42nd Annual RAMMYS Awards Gala, which honors excellence in the restaurant and foodservice industry in the Washington, D.C. area across a range of categories.

Era Wine Bar, located at 3300 Rhode Island Ave., was nominated last year but didn't win.

Appetizers listed on the menu of this wine bar that offers drinks from around the world include Era marinated olives, stuffed welcome dates, crostinis, camarones con chimichuri, flatbreads, parmesan fries and Era boards. Small plate offerings include tandoori wings, lamb sliders and Spanish chickpeas. Bigger plates and bowls on the menu offer salata arabiya, PEI mussels, pan-seared rainbow trout, grand cru burger and butcher's cut beef. There's a dessert menu and a brunch menu as well.
