Suspect In Mount Rainier Fatal Stabbing Charged: Prince George's Police

The suspect in a fatal stabbing that happened July 14 in Mount Rainier has been charged in connection to the incident.

MOUNT RAINIER, MD — The suspect wanted in connection to a fatal stabbing that happened Sunday in Mount Rainier has been charged.

On July 14 at approximately 12:40 a.m., officers with the Mount Rainier Police Department were called to the 3700 block of 33rd street for a report of a stabbing. Officers found the victim outside with a stab wound. He was pronounced dead on the scene. Officers also found the suspect at the scene and took him into custody, according to police.

The preliminary investigation indicates the suspect stabbed the victim during an argument. They knew each other, police said. Henderson has been charged with first-degree murder and related charges. He is in the custody of the Prince George's County Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.
