The proceedings in Baltimore have attracted widespread attention.
During the Sept. 2 pretrial hearings to determine who will prosecute and how the officers should be tried, more than 40 media outlets were in attendance, coming from as far away as France.
Demonstrators peppered the streets outside the courthouse and city hall, where police blanketed the area. Officers were told they could not take leave Sept. 2 or 10.
Currently, there are not any planned traffic diversions for the hearing on Thursday, Sept. 10.
City officials have told the Maryland Transit Administration that there may be temporary lane closures.
