15-Year Celebration at Sports and Learning Complex
Saturday's open house in Landover will feature free demonstrations, giveaways and door prizes.

The Prince George’s County Department of Parks and Recreation is hosting a 15-year anniversary open house at the Prince George’s County Sports and Learning Complex on Saturday, May 2.
A state-of-the-art facility which lies next to FedEx Field, the Sports and Learning Complex opened its doors in April 2000 and has been an important location for the Prince George’s County community ever since.

The complex’s artificial turf field, outdoor and indoor tracks, indoor pool and gymnastics facility have hosted hundreds of sporting events. There is also a splash pool, a two-floor fitness area, various fitness rooms, 42 garden plots, two gallery spaces, a café and classrooms.
The open house will feature free demonstrations, giveaways and door prizes.
