Provincetown's Harbor Lounge also announced its opening day with sales going directly to a fundraiser for the Pond Village Community Chapel.
PROVINCETOWN, MA — Spring creeps closer for most Americans when a groundhog in Pennsylvania pops its head out to see if his shadow is on the ground near him.
On Cape Cod, spring only begins once the seasonal fish shacks and restaurants flip the "closed" signs to "open."
So in Provincetown, spring officially starts over the next few weeks.

Lobster Pot, the landmark Commercial Street restaurant where Anthony Bourdain got his start in kitchens, announced April 12 as its opening day.
Harbor Lounge, the Commercial Street cocktail lounge, will open for the season starting on Thursday. The lounge announced on social media that all sales would be donated to an ongoing fundraiser hoping to keep ownership of the Pond Village Community Chapel in the Truro community.
