Burlington Gluten-Free Bakery Makes List Of 10 Best In U.S.

BURLINGTON, MA — Twist Bakery & Cafe in Burlington has made USA Today's 10Best list of gluten-free bakeries with its wide range of yummy sweet and savory options.

Eating a gluten-free diet is far better in the taste department than it used to be as demonstrated by the mouth-watering offerings at these bakeries.

Twist Bakery & Cafe located at 62 Second Ave. ranked No. 3 on the list.

Here's what USA Today's 10Best had to say about the Burlington establishment:

"Twist Bakery & Cafe goes beyond gluten-free sweets —like their beloved lemon squares, cakes, and brownies — and offers savory items such as empanadas, chicken pot pie, and ham and cheese pinwheels. Note that the menu changes frequently."

Leading the list was Guncles Gluten Free in Mobile, AL and Hell Yeah Gluten Free in Atlanta.

Twist Bakery & Cafe also has another location in the state in Millis. The establishment wrote on its website that it "accommodates all of the top nine food allergens while at the same time, creating food the whole family craves."

"We hand craft each selection using the highest quality ingredients we carefully source especially for you," Twist wrote. "That’s just how we do it. We are deliciously different."

The gluten-free bakeries on USA Today's 10Best list were chosen by an expert panel and voted on by readers to determine the best in the country.
