Sweet Treats Being Delivered to North Shore Town and Safety Officials

There has been a rash of early Valentine's giving throughout the area this Friday.

Danvers, MA - With Valentine’s Day only days away, a number of local groups and residents are showing their love for public officials and safety workers this Friday.

In Danvers, Meaghan Dwyer Twoomey and Rob Twoomey set out at to commit random acts of kindness throughout the community.

One of the Twoomey’s stops was at the Danvers Police Department, where they brought coffee and donuts for those on duty.

Meanwhile, over in Swampscott, that police department was thanking the For the Love of Swampscott organization for bringing some sweet treats into the station. The police department offered a big thank you to the group of being an integral part of the community.

In Hamilton, annual tradition continued as a delicious red velvet Valentine’s Day cake was delivered to Hamilton Town Hall on Friday morning by the baker Bill Bowler.

It keeps up a longstanding tradition that goes back about 20 years for Bowler, a former member of the Board of Selectmen and now chairman of the Zoning Board of Appeals. Town Hall staff were invited to stop by the Memorial Room and grab a slice.
