Fire Extinguished At Historic Dan'l Webster Inn On Cape Cod

All occupants of the historic inn were evacuated during an early morning fire. Only one needed treatment for smoke inhalation.

Officials arrived just two minutes after the call to find a fire at the back of the building outside of the kitchen with flames spreading up the side of the building. That "immediate fire attack" was able to limit damage and spread, officials said.
