Have You Seen this Foxborough Diamond Thief?

Tuesday evening, a man walked into Cindi's Diamond and Jewelry Gallery and allegedly stole a diamond, according to the local store.

A local store at the center of town is asking for the public’s assistance with finding a man who allegedly stole a diamond.

According to a Facebook post, Cindi’s Diamond and Jewelry Gallery owner Cindi Haddad-Drew, a male walked into the store at 5:13 p.m. Tuesday and stole a two carat loose diamond. Earlier in the day, he had come into the store to browse engagement rings and specifically was looking at the same diamond that would have been placed into a diamond setting.

The suspect was described as a white male, about 5’9”, and 185 pounds, brown hair, and a beard. He was wearing denim jeans, Nike Airmax 90’s shoes, a tan tweed scally cap, and navy blue shirt.

Surveillance footage has resulted in a positive identification and police are in pursuit of a suspect, according to Haddad-Drew.
