Tom Brady Gets Country Club Membership

The Patriots QB is now a member of the ultra-exclusive club in Brookline.

Tom Brady can finally play golf on the course next to his home.

After being told to try again after he retires, Brady and Gisele Bundchen are now members of the excessively private Country Club in Brookline, three members told the Boston Globe. Because they hate the idea of anyone knowing anything about them, club GM David Chag didn't return a request for comment but Brady's name appears on the club roster on the club's members-only website.

Brady, whose home is adjacent to the club, now has access to the grounds which includes an 18-hole golf course, 9-hole course, tennis courts, swimming pool, skating pond, cross-country skiing paths, and curling rink.

The Country Club requires the endorsement of two members to join, but they have been known for being beyond selective, if not discriminatory. Established in 1882, the club didn't admit Jews until the 1970s, a woman wasn't admitted as a full member until 1989, and neither were blacks until 1994. Former Governor Deval Patrick was denied membership when he was encouraged to apply.

If it doesn't work, he's not far from the Brookline Municipal Golf Course.
