MARLBOROUGH, MA —A forthcoming downtown Marlborough restaurant will kick off a series of hiring events Wednesday as the owners prepare to open.

Wemmy's — the sister to the Welly's restaurant along Main Street — will open soon in the former Fish restaurant space in the plaza near the corner of Weed and South Bolton streets. Fish closed in March 2023, and about a month later, the owners of Welly's revealed the Wemmy's concept would be moving in.

The restaurant is looking to hire for all positions. The hiring events will take place at the restaurant at 29 South Bolton St., on Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
