MILFORD, MA — The town is rolling out a new way to recycle and throw away trash.

The town's refuse company, E.L. Harvey, will soon begin delivering 95-gallon carts to each property: one for recycling, the other for trash. Once the carts get delivered, E.L. Harvey will no longer collect either trash or recycling left outside the carts.

Here are key points about the change from the Milford Health Department:

  • All recycling must fit inside the cart, nothing outside the cart will be picked-up.
  • Cart lids need to be closed and the arrows facing towards the street.
