Salem Derby Street Pizza Joint, Bowling Alley Closes

SALEM, MA — The Salem location of a local restaurant chain that combined flatbread pizza, candlepin bowling, a bar, live music and outdoor season at the Derby Street site has apparently closed.

American Flatbread Salem is closed, according to reports, with the location landing page removed from the company's website.

American Flatbread has other locations in Somerville, Brighton and Georgetown, as well as Vermont, Maine and Connecticut locations.

The Salem location served all natural wood-fired pizza daily, with eight local draft brews, and four lanes of candlepin bowling.
