Seven Arrested In Tewksbury Drug Bust

Police were investigating illegal drug activity at the Motel 6 on Main Street.

TEWKSBURY, MA -- Police conducted an investigation into drug activity around the Motel 6 and arrested seven people this week, according to a press release Tewksbury Police Chief Timothy Sheehan issued Wednesday. After observing suspected drug transactions Tuesday, police obtained a search warrant for one of the rooms at the motel and recovered 101 grams of fentanyl.

Among the people arrested:

  • Anthony Gagne, 30, of 81 Conant Rd., Nashua, N.H. for trafficking fentanyl over 10 grams, conspiracy to violate the drug laws (two counts), possession of a class b substance (buprenorphine), two outstanding warrants (unlicensed operation, trespassing) and misleading a police officer.
  • Donald Emond, 25, of 21 Witham Ave., Dracut, MA. for trafficking fentanyl over 10 grams and conspiracy to violate the drug laws.
  • Corey Nardone, 27, of 91 Lake Attitash St., Amesbury, MA. for conspiracy to violate the drug laws and operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license.
  • Shantel Nardone, 26, of 34 Macy St., Amesbury, MA. for conspiracy to violate the drug laws, an outstanding warrant (trespassing) and a fugitive from justice court warrant out of New Hampshire.
  • Carolyn Williams, 38, of 183 Monument St, Haverhill, MA. for conspiracy to violate the drug laws.
  • Brandon Diagle, 33, of 26 Davida Rd., Burlington, MA. for possession of a class c substance (clonazepam), 2 counts of possession of a class e substance (alprazolam and gabapentin).
  • Update: A seventh person that was arrested agreed to pre-trial probation on February 21 and will have the arrest removed from her record if she remains out of trouble for one year.

All seven were scheduled to be arraigned Wednesday in Lowell District Court.
