Fine furniture maker Brendan Shanahan will lead you on a guided tour through the rooms of our 1806 mansion, discussing how to distinguish furniture by maker and time period, identifying different materials and construction methods, and pointing out highlights of our collection.
After the tour, visitors will have the opportunity to handle reproductions of historical tools, try their hand at fitting together a chair, and learn from Brendan how he recreates and restores historical furniture.
