Wayland Getting New Pizza Spot: Thin Crust, Scratch Made

WAYLAND, MA — A new pizza experience is coming to Wayland in April.

Wayland Pie Company will operate out of The Local serving thin crust, scratch-made pizza, according to the owners.

"We're cooking up something good," the restaurant said in a Facebook post this week.

The pie company will offer pickup and delivery at The Local, which is inside the Wayland Town Center shopping center. Apart from pizza, Wayland Pie Company will serve "Italian favorites."

The owners of The Local are behind the new pizza concept. The restaurant opened in the town center in 2013. The local chain also has The Local restaurants in Wellesley and Waltham.
