Man With Knife Threatens Worcester McDonald's Customers, Workers

The man started chasing one person before Worcester police arrested him after the Saturday incident.

WORCESTER, MA — A man with a knife terrorized employees and patrons at a Worcester McDonald's over the weekend, leading to his arrest on assault charges.

The incident happened near 3:30 a.m. Saturday at the McDonald's along Main Street just south of the Clark University campus. According to police, the man threatened people inside the restaurant before leaving when employees called 911.

When police arrived, they found the man chasing a person while holding the knife. They arrested Raoul Slavin, 31, on charges including two counts of assault with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct.
