WORCESTER, MA — The owner of Newton Square Pizza announced the beloved restaurant's closure on Saturday, although the interruption may only be temporary.

Newton Square Pizza owner Dimitri Mylonas announced the closure on the restaurant's Facebook page Saturday morning. The closure is related to a death in the family.

"I’m sorry to announce we will be closed from Saturday June 8th until further notice due to personal reasons. We apologize for the inconvenience, and look forward to seeing you when we return," the post read.
