Northville Could Just Say No to Pot Dispensaries

New regulations would make it illegal for commercial facilities distributing medical marijuana to operate in the city.

The Northville City Council introduced new regulations Tuesday that would keep medical marijuana dispensaries and provisioning centers out of the city limits, according to a report in the Northville Record.

The new provisions would allow growing, cultivating and possessing medical marijuana by licensed caregivers and patients, the report stated.

The regulations were approved for first reading at the council’s Feb. 17 meeting, the report stated. They will be voted on for adoption at the March 16 meeting, the report added.
