1 Edina School Added To Weekly COVID-19 Outbreak List
There were 103 Hennepin County schools on Thursday's list, four fewer than last week.
EDINA, MN — The number of Edina schools on Minnesota’s weekly COVID-19 outbreak list grew to 11 on Thursday, two weeks after dropping to its lowest mark in months.
Edina Public Schools’ Early Childhood Special Education program was added to the most recent list, joining 10 Edina schools that were named on last week’s list. Just three Edina schools were on the Feb. 3 list.

Ten of the 11 Edina schools on Thursday’s list are in the Edina Public Schools system, which is set to lift its universal mask mandate Wednesday.

Mask Mandate To Be Lifted Next Week At Edina Public Schools
The COVID-19 data dashboard for Edina Public Schools shows there have been 1,681 total coronavirus cases among students since Aug. 30. That includes 31 cases recorded from Feb. 5-11, the dashboard shows.

The district has also reported 283 total cases among staff since Aug. 30.
88% Of Edina Public Schools Staff Got COVID-19 Vaccines: District
About 88 percent of Edina Public Schools staff are vaccinated against the coronavirus, according to officials.
The district is one of just two in Minnesota that have a vaccine-or-test requirement for staff members, school board chair Erica Allenburg said Monday.
There were 103 Hennepin County schools on Thursday’s list, four fewer than last week. The total number of Minnesota schools on the list grew from 598 last week to 609 on Thursday.
