ST. PAUL, MN — Minnesota Vikings rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison will lose his license for six months after admitting to driving his Lamborghini Urus 85 miles per hour above the speed limit on Interstate 94 in St. Paul last month.

Addison, 21, also agreed to pay a $686 fine.

Under the deal, Addison pleaded guilty to driving 140 mph in a 55 mph zone. A driver's license is automatically revoked if they're convicted of driving more than 100 mph in Minnesota.

But the other, more serious charge against Addison — reckless driving — will be dropped under the plea deal.

Addison is due back in court on Sept. 19 to finalize the plea deal.

The Vikings selected Addison in the first round of the 2023 draft. He was a standout wide receiver at the University of Southern California.

According to the citation, Just after 3 a.m. on July 20, a trooper on eastbound I 94 near Dale Street clocked a Lamborghini Urus going 140 mph. The speed limit in the area is 55 mph, authorities noted.

The trooper pulled the Lamborghini over and identified the driver as Addison of Frederick, Maryland. He cited Addison for speeding and reckless driving.
