Vikings' Rookie WR Clocked Going 140 MPH On I-94: MN State Patrol

Jordan Addison, the Vikings' first-round draft pick, was going 85 MPH over the posted speed limit, according to authorities.

ST. PAUL, MN — The newest member of the Minnesota Vikings is showing dangerous speed on and off the field.

Rookie wide receiver Jordan Addison, 21, was ticketed early Thursday morning for going 85 miles over the posted speed limit, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Just after 3 a.m., a trooper on eastbound on Interstate 94 near Dale Street clocked a Lamborghini Urus going 140 miles per hour. The speed limit in the area is 55 MPH, authorities noted.

The trooper pulled the Lamborghini over and identified the driver as Addison of Frederick, Maryland. He cited Addison for speeding and reckless driving.

The Vikings selected Addison in the first round of the 2023 draft. He was a standout wide receiver at the University of Southern California.
