6 Charged At Seacoast Sobriety Checkpoint: State Police Roundup

CONCORD, NH — A Dover man was taken to Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, Sunday with life-threatening injuries after a two-vehicle crash on Route 155 in Madbury. New Hampshire State Police troopers were sent to the crash at around 1:30 a.m. after a report of a head-on crash. When troopers arrived, they found two vehicles with heavy front-end damage in the middle of the highway.

At post time, it is unknown which vehicle veered over the solid yellow line to strike the other vehicle, according to Lt. J. Hennessey of Troop A. A 30-year-old Dover man was taken to Beth Israel while a 27-year-old Goffstown man was taken to Wentworth Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to a report.

Route 27 Closed For 4 Hours After Crash

Troop A also responded to a crash Saturday in Exeter on Route 27 between Route 101 and Ray Farmstead Road between a 2018 Subaru Impreza and 2009 Mercedes C300. Troopers arrived at the scene around 7:15 a.m. to assist Exeter police with the investigation.

According to a report, Nicholas Munonz, 21, of Haverhill, MA, was driving the Mercedes when he reportedly crossed over the center line and struck the Subaru. The driver of the Subaru, a 45-year-old woman from Exeter, was taken to Exeter Hospital and then medflighted to Boston Medical Center with serious injuries. Munonz was also transported to the hospital with injuries. A passenger in the vehicle was not injured.

Munonz was arrested and charged with reckless conduct.

Route 27 was closed for around four hours during the investigation. Police and troopers were assisted by the Exeter Fire Department and Al's Automotive.

6 Bagged During Sobriety Checkpoint

Troop A troopers along with Rockingham County Sheriffs, Seabrook police, and New Hampshire Liquor Enforcement, held a "sobriety checkpoint" on Route 1A in Seabrook on Friday. According to state police, 477 vehicles were stopped and screened.

Six people were charged: Jennifer M. Borger, 36, of Methuen, MA, on a DWI charge; Teshaun J. Watson, 22, of Revere, MA, on an operating without a valid license charge; Grismel P. Sencion, 40, of North Providence, Rhode Island, on an aggravated DWI charge; Stephen P. Surprenant, 59, of Seabrook, on a DWI charge; Derek M. Winiewski, 25, of Salem, on a DWI charge; and Nathan H. Paulauskes, 34, of Worcester, MA, on a DWI charge.

All six are due in Hampton Circuit Court at a future date.

William Severns, 36, of Dover, was arrested on Aug. 5, on an arrest prior to requisition warrant on Route 108 in Dover.

Cristina Gatzimas, 37, of Dover, was arrested on a driving after revocation or suspension charge on Aug. 5, on Route 16 North in Dover.

Trevor Maskell, 22, of Brookline, Vermont, was arrested on Aug. 3, on aggravated DUI-30+mph, DUI, reckless operation, and driving after revocation or suspension charges and a bench warrant after a stop on Route 101 East near Exit 13 in Hampton.

James Pehl, 27, of Methuen, MA, was arrested on disorderly conduct and resisting arrest or detention charges on Aug. 3, at L Street and Ocean Boulevard in Hampton.

Zachary Geissler, 22, of Hartford, VT, was arrested on a conduct after an accident charge on Aug. 3, on I-89 South at Exit 16 in Enfield.

Victoria Boisvert, 23, of Manchester, was arrested on Aug. 3, on a bench warrant. Also arrested was Michael Moreno of Nashua on a bench warrant. They were arrested on I-93 North near Exit 17 in Penacook.

Elizabeth Gray, 62, of Malden, MA, was arrested on a DUI charge on I-93 North in Hooksett on Aug. 2.

Desiree Bellio, 35, of Lebanon, was arrested on Aug. 2, on a driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent charge as well as a bench warrant on I-89 South near Exit 19 in Lebanon.

Morgan Galluzzo, 24, of New London, was arrested on Aug. 2, on a reckless operation charge on I-89 South in Sunapee.

Duncan Joyal, 28, of Webster, was arrested on Aug. 2, on driving after revocation or suspension-subsequent and uninspected vehicle charges as well as three bench warrants on I-89 North in Lebanon.

Charles Baxter, 54, of New Durham, was arrested on Aug. 2, on driving after revocation or suspension and suspension of vehicle registration charges on I-93 North in Concord.

Jake Mason, 26, of Franklin, was arrested on two counts of possession of controlled drugs on I-93 North in Concord.
