Erick W. Plume, 28, of Broadway in Concord, was arrested at 12:10 p.m. on Dec. 30, 2014, and charged with two felony counts of possession of controlled drugs and a bench warrant. Officers, detectives, and Concord Fire and Rescue teams were sent to a drug overdose on Chesley Street where a man, later identified as Plume, was allegedly found “unconscious and barely breathing on the floor.” A syringe full of liquid was on a television stand next to his body, according to the report. Plum was reportedly revived using Narcan and taken to the hospital. Two other men were in the home and reportedly stated that Plume allegedly came over to use their bathroom. After 10 minutes, one knocked on the door to see if he was OK. He then went into the bathroom and allegedly found Plume slumped over on the toilet. The men moved him to the floor on his back and called 911. The syringe was found on the bathroom floor and one of them moved it to the stand. The reporting officer went to speak with Plume at the hospital and took his statement. He had an active warrant for failing to pay a fine on a willful concealment charge, $385 cash to settle, and was held. A field test on the syringe reportedly tested positive for heroin and fentanyl.
