Concord Police Log: Loudon Teen Allegedly Slaps Ex at the Mall

Plus, elderly Epsom woman charged after crash; teen smashes glass table; Pembroke teen charged with theft, bail jumping.

James O. Gadwah, 52, of King Street in Boscawen, was arrested at 9:15 p.m. on Jan. 26, on a receiving stolen property charges from Schnitzer on Sandquist Street on April 2, 2014. He’s due in court on March 9.

Barbara Salmon, 67, of Birch Street in Epsom, was arrested at 1:09 p.m. on Jan. 26, on a conduct after an accident charge from Jan. 22, at the CVS on Loudon Road. She’s due in court on March 9.

Naython Judoin, 19, of Colony Drive in Center Barnstead, was arrested at 1:55 p.m. on Jan. 26, for simple assault, criminal mischief, and domestic violence (simple assault). An officer was sent to the Steeplegate Mall on Loudon Road where a woman alleged that her ex-boyfriend had hit her in the face and broke her phone. The woman stated that she was dropping off their son so that he could go ice skating with Judoin. He reportedly got into her car and they began arguing about someone calling DCYF. Judoin allegedly took her phone and hit it over his knee. He then went to get the boy out of the car seat and she was worried for the boy’s safety and tried to stop him from taking the boy. Judoin allegedly struck her in the face with his hand. The officer noted an injury to the woman’s face and the broken phone screen. While speaking with the officer, the phone was “continually ringing,” and it was Judoin trying to reach the woman. She answered the phone, handed it to the officer, and he requested Judoin to come back to the mall. Judoin reportedly asked the officer to check on the boy alleging that his ex was “crazy.” Another officer stopped Judoin on Route 106 and he alleged that the woman struck him but there were no visible injuries to indicate that, according to the report. He’s due in court on March 9.

Miles J. Chamness, 61, of Fisherville Road in Concord, was arrested at 3:06 p.m. on Jan. 26, and charged with criminal mischief after allegedly smashing a coffee pot after an argument with his wife after coming home from the Moose Lodge. Originally, Chamness allegedly claimed that he dropped it, according to the report. He’s due in court on March 9.

William Fifolt, 42, of Route 129 in Loudon, was arrested at 7:04 p.m. on Jan. 26, for driving while intoxicated, second offense, disobeying an officer, and driving after revocation or suspension. An officer patrolling Carter Hill Road for speeders clocked a vehicle going 52 mph in a 35 zone. The vehicle was pulled over near the River Hill Market and while walking up to the vehicle, the officer reportedly saw the man switch seats with a woman passenger. Initially, Fifolt allegedly denied switching seats and said he just wanted to go home. He allegedly gave a false name to the officer but later, the officer was able to find out his real name when the female passenger told the officer. He also matched him to a Loudon Police booking photo. Fifolt allegedly kept trying to exit the vehicle even though he was told not to. He also reportedly denied driving after admitting to officers he had been driving. He was arrested and held without bail.

Prem Kafley, 17, of Royal Gardens in Concord, was arrested at 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 26, on two counts of criminal mischief for allegedly smashing a glass table and a cellphone. He’s due in court on March 16.

Matthew T. Caldwell, 34, of Centre Street in Concord, was arrested at 3:17 p.m. on Jan. 27, for driving while intoxicated, second offense. Officers were sent to an accident at the intersection of North Main Street and Loudon Road involving a Nissan that was stuck in the median due to snow on the road. The first officer approached the vehicle and spoke with Caldwell who allegedly smelled like alcohol and had glassy and bloodshot eyes. When asked for his license, Caldwell allegedly gave the officer his VISA card. When asked again for his license, he allegedly stated, “I just gave it to you.” He apologized later for the mix-up. When asked to perform a field sobriety test, Caldwell agreed but reportedly fell face first into the snow without putting his hands out to break his fall. After standing up, he stated that he didn’t want to perform the test and was arrested. During processing, Caldwell allegedly had “dramatic mood swings,” going from being disrespectful to polite.

Robert A. Garcia, 25, of South Main Street in Concord, was arrested at 12:18 p.m. on Jan. 27, for simple assault, criminal mischief, and domestic violence (simple assault). Officers were sent to South Main Street for a domestic with a man reporting that his girlfriend was out of control. While en route, the woman called in to report that the man had threatened her with a gun and was now hiding it outside. The reporting officer arrived first and spoke with Garcia, who he knew from previous contacts, and asked about the weapon. Garcia reportedly stated that he put a shotgun in his car and had a compound bow in the home but no other weapons. When asked what happened, he stated that he had to move his truck due to the snow but it died. Garcia went to ask his girlfriend to use her phone but she refused. He allegedly admitted to taking the phone from her and she shoved him into a wall of the bathroom causing a hole in the wall. Another officer spoke to the woman who alleged that Garcia shoved her on a bed with both hands and then shoved his head into the wall of the bathroom. She alleged that Garcia then “grabbed his gun and was holding it.” When asked if she was threatened with the gun, she said No. Garcia later threw a dish and broke it, she alleged. The reporting officer spoke with Garcia again and he was arrested. He’s due in court on March 16.

Ann Marie N. Fernandez, 26, of Fisherville Road in Concord, was arrested at 10:33 p.m. on Jan. 27, on a bench warrant out of Concord District Court from Jan. 15, 2015, for nonappearance in court. She’s due in court on March 9.

Roland M. Thibeault, 19, of Buck Street in Pembroke, was arrested at 2:10 p.m. on Jan. 28, for bail jumping on July 14, 2014, theft by deception on May 14, 2014, and theft by unauthorized taking or transfer on Aug. 20, 2014. According to an arrest report, Thibeault was served the warrants while at New Hampshire State Prison after being arrested by sheriffs on a capias. According to court documents, on June 15, 2014, officers were sent to Lowe’s on Fort Eddy Road for a report of a shoplifter in custudy. Thibeault allegedly had tried to return six items for store credit that he had stolen the month before. He allegedly admitted to the theft and was arrested. A warrant was taken out on July 2, 2014, for the theft charge. On July 14, 2014, he was supposed to show up for an arraignment and allegedly didn’t, so a bail jumping warrant was filed on July 18, 2014. On Aug. 20, an officer was sent to Freedom Cycle on Manchester Street for a shoplifter who had left the store and refused to come back. The man allegedly stole a $28 T-shirt, and then left the area in a Hyundai, driving east. A man in a truck heard the store clerk yelling about the shoplifter and followed the vehicle while Pembroke Police made contact with the registered owner of the vehicle, a woman who reportedly stated she was in the store with Thibeault before the alleged theft. A warrant was taken out for his arrest on Sept. 2, 2014.
