The vehicle, they stated, was driving east in the westbound lane near Exit 9.

"Passing motorists reported the wrong way driver to be operating a silver Honda CRV in the high-speed travel lane," according to Lt. John Hennessy of Troop A.

Troopers were able to slow down and stop motorists as they approached the driver and were able to stop the vehicle.
