CONCORD, NH — Samantha Lam, pictured, 29, of North Main Street in Concord and/or Quimby Road in Bow, was arrested at 10:37 p.m. on Jan. 7, 2020, on a possession of heroin charge and a warrant. Officers were sent to a South Main Street apartment building for a report of an unwanted guest. The owner of the building told police that Lam had previously been trespassed from the building. Dispatch told the officers she had a Hillsborough County no bail warrant, the affidavit stated. The officers knocked on the door of the apartment, spoke to a man, and saw a woman on the floor. The officer recognized the woman to be Lam, according to the affidavit. Dispatch confirmed the warrant and she was arrested. Before being placed in a police cruiser, an officer searched her and accused Lam of being in possession of a small plastic bag of a brown powder believed to be heroin. A felony charge was added to her docket. The warrant, according to the Merrimack County Superior Court, was for nonappearance in court on Nov. 4, 2019. Lam has a probation violation hearing in Hillsborough County Superior Court North on Feb. 24, based on a receiving stolen property conviction from December 2018.
