Organized Retail Crime, Fake IDs: Salem Police Log, June 5-June 9

Arrests for organized retail crime, fake ID manufacturing and drug possession were reported in the Salem police log for June 5 to June 9.

SALEM, NH — The following incidents were reported in the Salem police log. Arrests do not indicate guilt. The names of any minors have been omitted.

Wednesday, June 5

11:16 a.m. — A hit-and-run accident is reported near Rite Aid.

1:24 p.m. — An erratic driver is reported near Exit 1.

1:44 p.m. — A dump truck takes down some wires on Lowell Road.

2:01 p.m. — Troy A. Snyder, 22, of Litchfield, is arrested on four drug possession charges and one count of transporting drugs in a vehicle.

3:41 p.m. — Augustine Mauras, 28, of Methuen, Massachusetts, is charged with theft by unauthorized taking of property worth more than $1,500.

6:16 p.m. — Michael Domenic Langone Jr., 53, of Atkinson, is charged with bail jumping.

Thursday, June 6

5:38 a.m. — Alex K. Meas, 23, of Manchester, was charged with criminal trespass and breach of bail.

7:39 a.m. — Someone reports shots fired behind a house in the area of Cross Street and Brady Avenue, police check the area and say no shots were heard.

12:35 p.m. — Hector William Arroyo, 49, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, is charged with willful concealment, two counts of organized retail crime enterprise, willful concealment theft of property valued at more than $1,500, and was arrested on a bench warrant.

12:53 p.m. — A vehicle was reportedly egged the previous night on Blake Road.

12:54 p.m. — Heather L. Simmons, 36, of Derry, is charged with bail jumping.

5:36 p.m. — Michael Nowosielski, 27, of Salem, is arrested on a bench warrant.

Friday, June 7

2:36 a.m. — Justyce Lila Onysha Jenkins, 24, of Rumney, was charged with possession of less than one ounce methamphetamine and less than one gram of fentanyl. Michael Douglas Caldwell, 29, of Bridgewater, was charged with having more than one gram of fentanyl and less than one ounce of methamphetamine, and arrested on a breach of bail charge.

1:36 p.m. — Shoplifting is reported at Macy's. Kristian K. Tamayo, 21, of Methuen, Massachusetts, is charged with willful concealment and criminal trespass.

1:58 p.m. — In the police station lobby, a man reports that someone with bright orange shoes is following him. Police determine it's not stalking; the subject caught him starting at him twice.

2:05 p.m. — Police check on graffiti in the town forest.

2:47 p.m. — A vehicle reportedly hits a tree in the yard on Brookdale Road, then backs up and leaves.

3:02 p.m. — On Mall Road, a shirtless man reportedly walks through the Tuscan Village and almost gets hit by a truck.

4:59 p.m. — At the mall, security reports six people who are possibly involved in the recent thefts of Apple products. One of them is holding a stack of cards. A van is seized. Yingying Cui, 37, of Hollis, is charged with four counts of manufacture or possession of a false ID. Tao Wang, 41, of Chelmsford, Massachusetts, is charged with five counts of manufacture or possession of a false ID. Li Guicheng, 65, of Westford, Massachusetts, is charged with receiving stolen property valued at $1,000 or less.

5:58 p.m. — Someone reports a hit-and-run that happened at Walmart.

6:33 p.m. — A male is transported to Parkland Hospital after reportedly having a nervous breakdown and running with a knife.

10:16 p.m. — Nicholas J. Diphillipo, 25, of Methuen, Massachusetts, is charged with driving after revocation or suspension.

11:27 p.m. — Loud bass is reported on South Policy Street.

Saturday, June 8

9:23 a.m. — A two-vehicle accident is reported at the transfer station.

10:28 a.m. — Salem police assist Windham police with a minor accident at Convenient MD.

4:55 p.m. — A two-vehicle accident with no injuries is reported at the intersection of Brady Avenue and Cross Street.

7:09 p.m. — Matthew J. Amaral, 32, of Salem, is charged with taking a family member's vehicle without consent, operating after being certified as a habitual offender, drug possession and breach of bail.

8:49 p.m. — A loud party is reported in the area of Hanson and Spencer avenues.

11:08 p.m. — Juana Antonia Matos, 57, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, is charged with driving under the influence.

Sunday, June 9

12:44 p.m. — A hit-and-run is reported on Old Coach Road.

1:15 p.m. — A hit-and-run is reported at Home Depot.

2:47 p.m. — Someone reports that a man knocked on her car door on Carriage Lane, and when she didn't answer he took pictures and left the area.

3:17 p.m. — A skateboarder is reportedly skating around the cones down the middle of Route 28.

4:42 p.m. — Theft of clothing worth $6,578 is reported at Pink, on Rockingham Park Boulevard.

5:45 p.m. — A man with a beard is reportedly knocking on doors on Brookdale Road.

6:58 p.m. — A possible drunk driver is reported on Bridge Street.

7:25 p.m. — Water is flowing out of the Coca-Cola bottling building on South Broadway Street. It's a possible broken pipe, the property owner is notified.

7:53 p.m. — Police remove two people from Canobie Lake Park after they have a dispute.
