Essex County Brothers Will Fight Crime In The Caldwells
This brotherly duo has taken up the badge to combat crime in Essex County.
CALDWELL, NJ — A Caldwell resident has followed in his sibling’s footsteps into law enforcement, creating a brotherly duo that promises to take a bite out of crime in Essex County.
According to the Essex County College Public Safety Academy (ECCPSA), recent graduate Kevin O'Neill has been sworn in to the Caldwell Police Department.
“Kevin joins his brother, Officer Paul O'Neill, who was one of our alternate route grads and serves on the North Caldwell Police Department,” the ECCPSA stated.

The Caldwell Police Department also issued a statement on social media about Kevin O’Neill’s appointment as the town’s newest cop: “We would like to congratulate and welcome Officer O'Neill to the Caldwell Police Department… We wish him the best of luck as he serves the Caldwell Community.”
