Classic Cake is putting the finishing touches on a new store, before celebrating the "grand re-opening" on Wednesday at the Short Hills Shopping Center (486 Evesham Rd.). Customers can also check out the new space beforehand by contacting Classic Cake for pickup orders.

The bakery was among several establishments consumed in a fire at the strip mall in March 2020 — weeks before COVID-19 restrictions took root in New Jersey, sending businesses into further upheaval.
