Former TD Bank Site Gets New Tenant: JC Mayor's Wife's Business

HOBOKEN, NJ — A corner storefront in uptown Hoboken that's been vacant for over a year — since TD Bank left — is now home to the latest location of Jaclyn Fulop's expanding physical therapy practice, Exchange Physical Therapy. Fulop is married to Jersey City Mayor Steven Fulop and already has several locations for her practice in Hudson County, including downtown Hoboken.

The new site at 14th and Hudson streets is a block from the city's northern waterfront and on the same block as Kings Supermarket. It's across the street from Hudson Tavern, which closed earlier this summer and is for sale. READ MORE: Last Call For Hoboken Bar Where Eli Manning Dined

Jaclyn Fulop is the owner and director of the group of physical therapy practices that started in Jersey City. Her practice at 133 Monroe St. in Hoboken, which opened in 2019, has services for women's health and postpartum services.

"Our soft opening is next week," Fulop said Friday. "This clinic, like our other Hoboken location, will treat all orthopedic conditions, including pre and post surgical rehabilitation, pediatrics and women’s health including pelvic floor physical therapy. We are thrilled about the expansion and really love the location."

Fulop had opened her first local practice in Jersey City in 2012 after coming to the area in 2010 to do a physical therapy rotation. She met Mayor Fulop when she hosted a political gathering for him at the practice.
