Livingston High School Makes List Of 25 Best In State

LIVINGSTON, NJ — A website meant to help families decide where to live and learn has put Livingston High School near the top of the list of best public high schools in the state.

The site considered reviews from students, parents, and teachers (which can be read on the site), and gave grades for things like diversity, college graduation rate, AP courses offered, and clubs.

Many of the top schools were magnet or regional schools, so only a few high schools serving one town, like Livingston, made the top.

Livingston earned almost all A's in subjects like academics, teachers, and clubs, with a B+ for diversity.

The only Essex County school higher on the list is Millburn.

Here are New Jersey's top 25 public high schools, according to Niche.

9. Edison School - Middlesex County Academy for Science, Mathematics & Engineering Technologies (Middlesex County Vocational & Technical School District)
10. Dr. Ronald E. McNair Academic High School (Jersey City School District)
11. Academy for Allied Health Science (Union County Vocational-Technical School District)
12. Princeton High School (Princeton Public Schools)
13. West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South (West Windsor-Plainsboro Regional School District)
14. Academy of Allied Health & Sciences (Monmouth County Vocational School District)
