1 Woman Killed, 5 Others Injured In Multi-Car Old Bridge Rt. 9 Crash

OLD BRIDGE, NJ — A 31-year-old Manalapan woman was killed and five others badly injured in a serious multi-vehicle crash late Saturday night on Rt. 9 in Old Bridge.

The crashed happened at 1:05 a.m. Sunday in the area of Rt. 9 and Ferry Road, and was a multi-car pile-up, said police.

One car involved was a BMW. Its driver was transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in critical condition. A passenger of the BMW, Kristina Godich, 31, of Manalapan, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another car involved was a Ford Mustang with four occupants, all of whom were transported to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, and all are in stable condition as of Sunday.

All other drivers and occupants that were involved in the crash were treated at the scene and released.
