Montclair Power Outage Impacts 1,400 Customers: PSEG

Here's when the electricity is expected to be back in Montclair, PSE&G says.

MONTCLAIR, NJ — More than 1,400 PSE&G customers in Montclair lost power on Thursday afternoon. Electricity is expected to be restored within a few hours, the utility provider reported.

According to PSE&G’s outage map, the power went out at several locations in town. The most severe case happened in the area near Ardsley Road and Tremont Place, where 1,416 customers were impacted by an outage at 2:52 p.m. The estimated restoration time is 6 p.m.

Other severe outages involving under five customers were reported throughout town, with estimated restoration times ranging from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
