WATCH: Gov. Murphy Issues Nor'easter, COVID, Vaccines Update

WATCH: Gov. Murphy spoke on Tuesday and addressed the nor'easter, snow, COVID-19 and vaccines.

NEW JERSEY – Gov. Phil Murphy provided the latest updates on snow totals, the nor'easter impacts, the coronavirus outbreak, schools, vaccines and closures in New Jersey on Tuesday (you can watch it here, below).

Murphy said the state continues to recover from the storm, and he's lifting restrictions on highways that prohibited trucks at 12 noon. Those who were supposed to get a vaccine at one of the state's mega-sites that were closed on Tuesday will get a new appointment, he said.

Murphy said the storm was perhaps the biggest the state has seen in 11 years, and maybe 25 years. He was pleased that no more than 5,000 power outages were reported.

Murphy said police have responded to more than 2,500 motorist-aid situations an accidents on highways and roads.

Murphy asked people to stay inside and "let these crews do these jobs safely" so roads can be cleared.
