NJ COVID-19 Vaccine Sites Closing Because Of Nor'easter

A number of sites have closed appointments for COVID vaccines because of the nor'easter in NJ. Here's where.

NEW JERSEY – A number of sites have closed appointments for COVID vaccines because of the nor'easter in New Jersey.

Gov. Phil Murphy closed all six of New Jersey's COVID vaccine mega-sites on Monday.

Bergen County

COVID Vaccination Update - Due to the forecast of a winter storm, all vaccination appointments that were scheduled for Monday, February 1st were moved to Sunday, January 31st. The operating hours of our vaccination centers on Sunday will be the same as the hours on Monday. If you are unable to make your appointment, please call 973-877-8456.

Monmouth County

Out of an abundance of caution, the Monmouth County vaccine clinics, scheduled for Monday, Feb. 1, 2021 at Brookdale Community College and the County's Agriculture Building are canceled. Everyone with a scheduled appointment will be notified.

Residents who are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine may use the Monmouth County COVID-19 Vaccination Waitlist to be notified when an appointment becomes available. Registering for the waitlist more than once may delay you from receiving a scheduled appointment for the vaccination.

Ocean County

Due to the potential upcoming storm on Feb. 1, the Ocean County Health Department has cancelled all appointments at their COVID-19 vaccination sites (Toms River High School North & Southern Regional Middle School) AND for the COVID-19 drive thru testing clinic at Ocean County College.

Please note that all appointments scheduled for Feb. 1, will be honored at any clinic next week.

Passaic County

Due to the impending weather, the vaccination clinics scheduled for Monday, February 1 and Tuesday, February 2 at the Modell’s in Woodland Park will be rescheduled as follows:

Monday appointments will be moved to Friday, February 5 and Saturday, February 6. Those that had an appointment scheduled on Friday, will be notified via phone and/or email regarding their new appointment time.

Tuesday appointments will be moved to Wednesday, February 3 at the same time as the original Tuesday appointment. Those with an appointment will be notified via email.
The mobile testing site scheduled for Tuesday, February 2 at PCCC in Wanaque will be cancelled.
