Gregory, Hazel, Kelly, Mt. Pleasant, Redwood, St. Cloud and Washington Elementary Schools recently welcomed back West Orange High School graduating seniors for the traditional “clap out.”

High school students were bused to the elementary schools they attended to be cheered on as they walked through the halls one last time. The tradition began several years ago and has become a popular part of the celebrations leading up to graduation at Codey Arena.

Students were able to visit former teachers, pose for photos, and high-five the younger students, who were excited to have the graduates-to-be visit. It won't be long before they will be following in their footsteps and enjoying a clap-out of their own.

Thanks to the many parents who contributed clap-out photos - and thanks to parents who gave us such wonderful kids to work with for the past 12 years.
