Lewisboro Named Safest City In America For 2017
SafeWise ranks the 100 safest cities using crime statistics.
LEWISBORO, NY — Lewisboro was named the safest city in America by the SafeWise Report.
According to information on the Town of Lewisboro website, SafeWise used complete FBI crime data from 2015 to analyze and rank 100 cities, all of which have at least 10,000 people in population.
This is the second year Lewisboro was named the No. 1 Safest City in America.

There were only two crimes reported in the town, and none of them were violent crimes assaults or burglaries.
SafeWise Security Analyst Olga Papadimitriou said, “There is a lot that the nation can learn about community policing, the walkability of safe streets and collaboration between police and neighborhood watch programs to help improve the safety of our cities.”
