Clocks to Spring Forward for Daylight Saving Time 2015

Even if it doesn't feel like spring, it's almost time to move your clocks ahead an hour.

Those of you looking forward to spring and warmer weather among the cold have something to look forward too. The first sign of spring is just around the corner: Daylight Saving Time officially begins Sunday, March 8.

The time change officially takes place at 2 a.m., but you don’t have to spring out of bed and move the big hand on your clock ahead an hour. The change is automatic for most smartphones, computers, tablets and other digital devices.

But if you’re still using an analog alarm clock, you’ll probably want to move it ahead before you go to sleep on Saturday, March 7, or when you wake up the next morning.

While the clocks will turn to ’spring time’, it seems the weather won’t get the memo spring is approaching any time soon: the National Weather Service is currently projecting 1-2 inches of snow to fall across the island Sunday night into Monday morning.
