Watch: Insane Brawl Breaks Out at Barclays Center Between Rival Brooklyn High Schools

A cop who tried to break up the fight was pepper-sprayed, reports say.

Hundreds of high schoolers egged on a bloody brawl outside the Barclays Center mall in Fort Greene, Brooklyn, on Monday after school let out — as evidenced by multiple cellphone videos the kids shot at the scene instead of intervening.

When NYPD officers were called to Barclays to handle a “large disorderly group” that had gathered at 139 Flatbush Ave., they observed one teenage male staggering out of the crowd with a stab wound to his side, a police spokeswoman told Patch.

The brawl then spread around the corner to 625 Atlantic Ave., where another young man was punched in the lip, police said.

Both teenagers were ambulanced to Brookdale Hospital in Brownsville with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

One of the officers who tried to intervene was also hospitalized with an “eye injury,” police said. According to multiple reports, he was pepper-sprayed in the face during the chaos.

Videos making the rounds on social media — embedded below — show different angles of the drawn-out kid fight.

In one, aired by ABC New York, a single victim is attacked by a large group of teens. In that incident, a 16-year-old from South Shore Educational Complex in Carnarsie was reportedly stabbed by a student from the John Jay Education Campus in Park Slope.

In another video, uploaded to Facebook by a witness, we can make out an apparently unconscious teen being kicked and punched while cops try to subdue another teen nearby.

Community activist Tony Herbert re-shared the video on his own Facebook wall. “If we don’t denounce the violence these kids are committing, they will think it’s ok and continue to do so!!” he wrote.

Three people were reportedly arrested after the brawl; charges are pending.

Note: A previous version of this article incorrectly identified the alleged assailant as a student at Millennium Brooklyn High School in Park Slope.
