Joshua Clennon: I’ve been in Harlem for 31 years
Patch: What attracted you to the line of work you’re in, and how did you get started?
Joshua Clennon: My commitment to public service is deeply personal. I tragically lost my father to gun violence and that event ignited a fire in me to advocate for public safety and set me on the course to dedicate my life to public service. In my professional career, I have been deeply involved in preserving affordable housing ensuring that families in Harlem have a safe and stable place to call home. My work has been driven by the belief that everyone deserves the dignity of affordable housing and a a secure community.
