WATCH: Harborfields High School Sisters Win 'Disney Frozen Sing Your Heart' Contest

The Greenlawn winners were revealed in a commercial at the end of the recent American Music Awards.

Two sisters attending Harborfields High School in Greenlawn are the winners of the ”Disney Frozen Sing Your Heart” contest. The competition featured online voting of videos of singers performing the wildly popular hit “Let it Go,” from the Disney animated hit “Frozen.”

Katherine and Kelly Montenero were announced as the winners during a commercial at the end of the Nov. 23 American Music Awards, according to Disney.com.

Ultimately, the contest pit the Montenero sisters against nine other finalists from across the country.

The experience “was a great opportunity to show what we had,” Katherine told Disney.com.

As winners, the sisters enjoyed a moment in the spotlight, outfitted by personal stylists, and singing their harmonic rendition of “Let It Go.”

The sisters say they’ve been singing the hit together since ”Frozen,” the animated Disney film, was first released – way before they ever heard of the Kohl’s-presented contest.

They filmed their entry in their kitchen, and say family has played a big role in winning the contest.

Kelly told Disney.com, “Our biggest supporters are definitely our mom and dad.”
