911 Call About Burglary In Progress Leads To Arrest In Mamaroneck
The suspect was found with stolen items, including a driver's license, checks, a debit card, and a vehicle from NJ, according to police.
VILLAGE OF MAMARONECK, NY — A 911 phone call about an intruder led to the recovery of a cache of stolen property, according to police.
The Village of Mamaroneck Police Department says that on Monday, shortly before 8 a.m., they received the 911 call from a homeowner on South Barry Ave. who reported that a person was seen entering his home and stealing a bicycle.
Using the description of the suspect given by the caller, officers and detectives identified a suspect who had the stolen bicycle with him. He was arrested and taken to police headquarters for processing.

24-year-old Yaser Garcia-Ramirez, of the Bronx, was found with several other stolen items, including a driver's license, several checks, a debit card, and a vehicle from Newark, NJ.
Garcia-Ramirez was charged with felony second degree burglary, two counts of felony third degree criminal possession of stolen property, felony fourth degree criminal possession of stolen property, and misdemeanor fifth degree criminal possession of stolen property.

He was arraigned in Village of Mamaroneck Court and remanded to Westchester County Jail.
